Ways to contribute

There are several ways you can help UNHCR protect people forced to flee.

Please consider making a donation, or leaving a gift in your Will. You will be helping make the world a more welcoming place for people forced to flee.

Help us protect people forced to flee

More than 100 million people around the world have been forced to flee war, conflict and persecution.

They need to be protected, but we can't do it without the support of people like you.

With your help, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, can give refugees protection, shelter, access to clean water, food, medical supplies, blankets and so much more.

By donating or leaving a legacy, you will help us provide assistance and advocacy on behalf of displaced and stateless people every year.

Donate

By donating to UNHCR, you will provide refugees with ongoing relief and protection and help them regain hope for a better future.

Regular and monthly donations allow UNHCR to plan ahead and invest in long-term projects to improve the lives of refugees.

Big or small, a gift in your Will can make a world of difference.

Current funding needs

To learn more about how we help people forced to flee, and current funding gaps please see our Global Appeal.

The Global Appeal outlines our planned activities and the funding required to respond to the needs of refugees, asylum-seekers, stateless persons, and other forcibly displaced people around the world. It is based on a comprehensive analysis of the global refugee situation and the needs of the people affected.

What we do

UNHCR delivers life-saving assistance in emergencies, safeguards fundamental human rights, and helps displaced people find a safe place to call home.
